I felt it was bored at the first day on my school because i am not going to be at the mainstream classes.
I was shy to talk to my new friends and tutor too .
I did not know what am i going to learn to the first day of the school . I thought i will be lost from my tutor group so i had to be at learning support instead because i will not going to do IB and they were talking about that in my tutor group.
I had a single photo of my first day on my school and yesterday i had a photo with my tutor group .
I had a challenge week meeting at my thrid period and than i had a house group meeting too.

Dear Peachie Patchie,
This is my dream closet: !
But anyway, I wanted to share with you some photos of Tai O in Lantau Island (Hong Kong).
They call it the "Venice of Hong Kong." It is a little fishing village and people live in stilt houses. It is famous for dried fish delicacies. There are some small temples there too. It is surrounded by hills and looks beautiful. The village is very crowded though - teeming with tourists. There was a small historical museum-like place there and showed old pictures of Tai O: the village used to be very prosperous and earned its wealth by being a prominant entry route from the Mainland... but because the KCR and buses are much easier these days, things are not the same. Hopefully tourism can keep it afloat without destroying it. We also tried to spot some of the pink dolphins of Hong Kong but they were nowhere to be seen.... the waters of Hong Kong are not friendly to say the least... We had fun trying out the local street snacks: various grilled/bbqed seafood, simple sweets (honey on crackers), iced chinese teas, and chilled soya bean milk.
It took us about 2 hours to get there in total - we had to go to Central to get on the ferry to Mui O and then take a very hilly, squashed, and difficult bus ride from there to the village. But on the way we saw some small communities, adventurous hiking routes, and beautiful remote beaches. I think one of the beaches was called Cheung Sha Wan beach. Its long and isolated - a true treasure. I wish we could go there together but we would have to wait for cooler weather and still then the journey might be too tiring. But if you keep exercising your legs and eating well and stay healthy, we can go some day!

Dear, Peachie Patchie
I was thinking of my HS graduation in June. Yours will be next Spring right? I'm thinking about how time goes by very quickly. Once you're out of highschool... that means you're 18 (approximately) and you have to get a new ID card. I have to pick mine up soon. It means I'm legally an adult. I don't need to get parents' permission for medical procedures or anything. I'm sitting at my desk at my part-time summer job and I'm realizing this. It's kind of intimidating. It's very cold here.... can't control the air conditioning.
Hope you are enjoying your warm summer day.

Dear, Peachie Patchie
These are some pictures I took on my grad trip in Sabah, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. It is a beautiful place with amazing beaches. The sand is so soft, not like Hong Kong beaches. Hong Kong's sand is corse and painful to walk on. Sabah is much cooler than Hong Kong because it isn't as humid. I wish we could go there together some time. Remeber when we went to Cebu as a family? That was a long time ago. But in these beach places, there is nothing to do but just sit at the beach and do some watersports... so I think if I had stayed there longer, I'd have been very bored. It was fun but I missed you! We should go to the beach one more time before your school starts and I have to leave HK. We can just sit on the beach when it's not too hot.

Dear, Peachie Patchie
I was looking through some pictures we took in Washington DC earlier this Summer. Wasn't it a lot of fun? Visiting the Smithsonian Museums, getting lost while driving, visiting the national zoo, taking pictures at the Lincoln Monument... It was a long time since we went travelling as a family. Ever since I left for boarding school. I've always missed you when I'm at school. We still have about a month left together for the summer :) I guess missing people is part of growing up.
